Crisis Intervention

24 Hour Crisis Intervention

Middle Way House operates two 24-hour a day, 7-day a week crisis intervention emergency service hot line programs:

  • Domestic Violence

  • and Rape Crisis

These programs are staffed by employees and trained volunteers and are available to support and advocate for callers experiencing physical, emotional, or verbally abusive relationships. Callers can request information about safety planning, seek out supportive connections with individuals who understand the dynamics of domestic violence, and request information and referrals in the Bloomington and surrounding areas.

Middle Way House also participates in the Rape and Incest National Network (800) 656-4673 and the National Domestic Violence Hotline (800) 799-SAFE (7233) or (800) 787-3224 (TTY) for assistance if you are hearing impared. Or you may call collect if necessary.
