Malcolm Dalglish and the Ooolites, along with former Pilobolus dancer Jun Kuribayashi, will bring wild, soaring melodies, transcendent harmonies, and acrobatic moves to the Buskirk-Chumley Theater on February 24, 2018 at 7:30 PM.
Love Songs for a Lasting World is a fanciful swirl of song, dance, and pie and provides unbridled joy and warmth in the depth of winter. The event has become a mid-winter tradition and a signature fundraiser for Middle Way House.
This year’s show honors the spirit and life of Middle Way House’s beloved executive director of thirty years, Toby Strout. New works and old favorites will create a soulful, inventive, and sometimes zany celebration of voice, nature, and the human form.
Bring your woolies and join the post-performance, lantern-lit singing parade to a bonfire with the delicious Muddy Fork Farm & Bakery’s apple pie (included in ticket purchase), fresh from a wood-fired oven. A piece of pie, a pie of peace! Welcome to our winter feast!
Tickets for this reserved-seating event are $30 for adults and $15 for youth/students. Children ages 6 and under are free. Early purchase is encouraged to ensure availability of preferred seating options. Doors will open at 7 PM. The performance is expected to last roughly two hours, with a brief intermission.
